As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (“LCADC”), I am highly experienced in providing evaluations for Court-involved matters and counseling services. Currently, I am the Owner and Sole Practitioner of my awarded Private Practice, Assessment and Counseling Services, L.L.C., incorporated in 2019. My practice has two locations in Flemington, New Jersey and Neptune, New Jersey although I do travel Statewide when litigants are not able to travel to my offices provided that the Courts or the Attorneys can provide a confidential space for me to interview litigants. Over the course of my career, I have received positive endorsements and testimonials from Judges, Attorneys, and clients. Please refer to the Testimonials page on my website to see what past clients have said about their experience working with me.

Prior to forming my awarded Private Practice in March 2019, I was employed for 9 years by The State of New Jersey Superior Court as a “Recovery Court TASC Evaluator,” and Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program. I provide impartial Substance Abuse Evaluations for litigants represented by The State of New Jersey Public Defender’s Office (Criminal Trial and Office of Parental Representation). Services extend to litigants represented by Private Counsel, for Family Court and Municipal Court matters, IDRC, and school related matters as I am Board approved by Hunterdon Central Regional High School to provide Substance Abuse Evaluations to their students. Furthermore, I am on the Court-approved roster in multiple Counties as a provider of Custody Neutral Assessments (“CNA”). I also have experience providing Brief Focused Assessments (“BFAs”) when the Courts have a more targeted issue or specific question relative to parent-child contact problems. When subpoenaed, I have provided successful testimony with Judges in various Counties upholding the findings of my evaluations. My evaluations have been instrumental in assisting litigants with acceptance into Recovery Court, sentencing to terms of Special or Standard Probation, assisting the Office of Parental Representation with substance abuse issues that impact family related matters, and assisting Family Courts in resolving parenting disputes and parent-child contact problems. Throughout my career, which began in 2005, I have also provided individual and group counseling for mental health disorders and substance use disorders across various levels of care. I utilize the evidenced based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am paneled with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna as an in-network provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment services, in-person and virtually.

Educator experience has included Adjunct Professor with Raritan Valley Community College where I taught the following courses: Assessment and Treatment, Community Resources and Case Management, and Intro to Addiction. I have also provided presentations for The State of New Jersey Drug Court Conference, Middlesex County Public Defender’s Office, Somerset/Hunterdon County Drug Courts, and CADC/LCADC Continuing Education Credits workshops on the following topics: Understanding the Role of the Clinician within the Judiciary, Urine Drug Testing and Drug Cross Reactivity, Team Building in the Interdisciplinary Judiciary Arena, DSM-5 Differential Diagnosis & ASAM Level of Care Placement. Supervisory experience includes: providing Clinical Supervision to Turning Point and Freedom House LAC/LSW/CADC level clinicians seeking LPC/LCSW/CADC/LCADC licensures.
